This is an example of using a single Illuminato X Machina to update the code on a bunch of other IXM's that are connected in a sparse matrix manner. Each one "virally" infects the others with newer code, and that means you can start a simultaneous update at multiple locations in the physical grid.

The IXM is an Open Source Hardware board for experimenting with and learning parallel algorithms, robust computing, and DIY computer architecture. All the code is up at antipasto.blogspot.com and www.liquidware.com

  • 0_9 its sooooo pritty... i wonder what the speed on the cpu is on these (basicly) micro computers are... on top of that i wonder if it could do something useful like folding @ home :P ..... just a thought!
