This boy was on the sidewalk in Oaxaca Mexico singing and playing. I paid him a small amount for the video.

The sad thing is that, in many cases, the street beggar or street musician like this kid, have to give most of the money to their papa who sits in a nearby cantina drinking up the family earnings. The they come home with a small bag of dry beans and a stack of torillas to eat, instead of the booze money that could have purchased great food and multi-vitamins... -HM, 28 years of traveling/living in Mexico.

thanks for sharing part of my culture to the world , i am far away from home and this video make me feel close to my peoples and my culture , this is what many kids do in oaxaca mexico just to have some food on their tables with their family and same time it is what it is oaxaca, my people , my soul . thanks again for sharing.

@roberto2 que ignorancia mi amigo , que corazon tienes bueno no tienes lo que veo , soy oaxaqueno y muy orgulloso pues en oaxaca aprendi que es ser un buen ser humano hoy me pongo al tu por tu con quien sea , asiaticos, gringos, europeas... con quien sea y gracias a mi gente que de ellos aprendi a luchar como esa personita del video que lucha por su vida y por dejar bien oaxaca y a mexico a los ojos del mundo.
