@happybuddyperson not a chance, olive trees require warmer climate ,and dont do well in areas prone to snow

lemme give you a tip. using a weed cloth will stop the mulch from getting into the soil. you want the mulch to get on the soil and break down releasing nitrogen and thus micro nutrients(tree food). :) im an ISA certified arborist. send me a PM if you have anymore questions.

i live in scotland and im going to give this a go lol
got a small tree in a pot about 3 years old
so i will keep it in a pot for a few years more
happy days :)
i bought them in 8" pots for $20, i wouldn't pay more than $35 australian for a 2ft tree. look around for a better price, if you want a few you can even try contacting a grower!
