FAD Buoy on a mega scale 3 miles off the coast of Kailua Kona. This is video footage of the original 70 foot Fishing Island from the summer of 1990 on the popular Hawaii fishing show "Let's Go Fishing" with then host Harry Kojima. In 2008, the Captain of Fishing Island (Ray Nibert) and his family will be returning to the waters off of Kona. This time they will be using a 180 foot former military ferry boat! I knew Harry. He was the fish cutter at Tomashiros Market. I miss this show too. He never threw anything back. Catch and release my ass, everything caught was eaten.
