Rush Limbaugh speaks about "climate change" 1/8/10

Rush gives credit to the 1st responders during the nationwide Arctic blast that is presently gripping the entire country...and ties it into the idiotic claims of "global warming" &/or climate change. This took place at around an hour and a half into Rush's Friday show.

Hello Mr.Linbaugh, you may want to fast travel back to grade 8 geography. Definition: Temperature: A change in a specific region over a short period of time

Climate: A change in a specific region or Earth over a period of many years.

Hmm, if its cold for a few days in the U.S. that doesn't mean the climate is not changing... someone needs to do some fact checking

@mattt1994 It sure is funny how those who "believe" in global warming/climate change LOVE to tell the "non-believers" how a semi-routine cold-snap isn't "proof" that gw/cc doesn't exist & at the same time claim that a record-setting heat wave IS proof of global warming. Go figure. It's almost as if it is all a ruse, isn't it? If things are so dire now why are there still weather records that date back 30-90 years? I would think that all of you "believers" could figure that out...oh well...

@shellymic To address your question on "record setting heat waves" I would imagine that they would look at the data and then analyze that the amount of record heat waves are going up. You will not find a single reputable climatologist who will say a single weather event was an attribute of c.c. However, what you can notice is that these "extreme weather events" are becoming more severe and frequent

@mattt1994 LOL So, IF they "analyze the data" in the summer (wherever in the world) that holds more weight than the "data analyzed" during a record cold snap? Your theory holds no water. Weather events are just that...events. They have existed since the beginning of time & there is NOTHING that "man" has done or COULD do to affect them. Period.

I suppose man's use of carbon led to the glaciers disappearing from the lower 48, right? LOL Yeah, that doesn't work either.

@shellymic OMG dude your right! I would suggest calling NASA, NOAA, The National Academy of Science of the U.S., Japan, Canada, U.K. France, and China. You just proved their millions of hours of research as garbage. Congrats. Look no matter what you say, no one will believe you, anyone in their right mind would agree with the above institutions rather than what you have to say. We aren't scientists so who are we to dictate what is true and what isn't

@mattt1994 I'm sorry Matt...too many people, like yourself, just believe everything they hear. I hate to inform you of this but MANY more people agree with me than with you. The entire MYTH of "gw" & "cc" is the biggest FRAUD ever perpetrated on humanity. A few of us just don't take the word of a FEW politically (& financially) motivated "scientists." Good think those "scientists" ARE WRONG OFTEN, otherwise the earth would have frozen over completely by now...that was the myth of the 1970's.
