Raw meat is the best possible diet for a cat, and this is whole minced wild rabbit, everything in (bones and all), and they just love it. I've never seen a queen GAIN weight when she's feeding a litter of kittens, but Marmite did it with the rabbit. They are eating over a kilo a day, and they look fantastic on it.
Start them as soon as they will start eating: some kittens will eat raw meat from 3 weeks of age. My kittens end up twice the size of kittens fed on commercial packet, dry or tinned food: it really adds weight to the bones. They are not fatty either, it's all muscle. They poo much less as well because more of what they eat is good stuff that their bodies can use.
