Since the 2001 Fish Kill, a movement has been growing on the Klamath River to remove the dams that are killing salmon and destroying local communities and cultures. The owner of the dams, PacifiCorp, owned by billionaire Warren Buffett, continues to stall the dam relicencing process, while fish runs vanish before our eyes. Klamath River communities are asking for your help. No more business as usual! Help halt the most destructive energy company in the West. Join us for a day of action on Sept. 18th in Portland, OR.

By removing the dams more spawing habitat will be open to spawing fish, but it will do NOTHING for the warm water problem caused by TAKING THE WATER OUT OF THE RIVER! Raise the upper most dam so more COOL water can be released in the SUMMER when the river is the lowest and warmest! Was one of the best runs in years this 2009! Eureka Ca

The river needs restoration. The dams need to come off the river. Nature needs to be repaired and renewed. There is really no time to wait.
