also you said something about your T2i not wotrking on it, you could buy a sima quick connect (i think thats what its called) the frugal filmmaker uses them and he did a video entirely on it its only 15 bucks and it works!
@gnarwhal1 sake of uploading faster and i was showing off the basic ability of dslrs and how their lenses allow for depth of field more than anything else plus youtube doesnt do an amazing job at displaying hd
@chasethemooseinc True, the manfrottos are more sturdier, I've worked with them in my production class projects. They were awesome, but expensive for a tripod out of my range for now lol
You don't have to offset the camera. If you pull the little lever out away from the head, it will spin independently to allow you to tighten without hitting the camera.

on amazon they make something you can set this on so it can move so that could fix the problems to the slow pan

Oh and hey, when you pan from left to right and right to left in less than 3 secs does your tripod fluid head jerk or feel loose??
