Rode Videomic Pro Shotgun Microphone - Tests and Comparison

Running a few tests with the Rode Videomic Pro shotgun microphone. In this video I compare the internal mic on the 60D with the Rode VMP at various different settings.

In my opinion, the recommended setting (60D manual audio set four notches from the lowest setting, Rode on + 20 db setting with HPF on) ends up working the best. As you can see (or rather, hear), the Rode is a vast improvement over the internal mic on the 60D or any other range of Canon DSLR cameras.
