  • El Carnaval Vegano is such a great event! I love it!! Listen to the new song "Bailando en La Vega" Carnaval Vegano 2012!! Hot!!!

  • @holloween2011 You made some very valid points my friend people are taught to hate anything African, even though we all come from there. Yes, man people black, white and other suffer from self hate and it is terrible man.

  • @BigWelt and haitians. by far the worst amount of prejudice that exists amongst the african descent community is in america, because my wife said that wen she used to do to school, the african american girls would make fun of her, put gum in her hair just because it was really long, and made her feel bad. so she never felt welcome in the african american community, so how is she supposed to know about black beauty if it was never it was never shown to her? then resent her for not knowing it...

  • @BigWelt viewed as poor and ugly along with being a social stigma. so when you tell someone that there black, they think of poor and ugly. your basically telling them, you just as poor and ugly as me... in america we think dark skinned people ugly bad, and light skin attractive and good. but when i go to the dominican, if you are light or dark, it doesnt matter, your just dominican. how your treated depends on what you are in society, unfortunatley the majority of the poor are dark blacks(cont.)

  • @BigWelt i see your point, but at some point all humans originate from africa. geneologists discovered it, we are all african my brother! the real problem is that we have been trained to see only to understand the eurocentric standard of beauty. but thats changing. when i went to america i was in new york and noticed a family from ghana, and across the street were a group of african americans making fun of how black they were. white is viewed as wealthy and attractive, while black is (cont.)

  • @holloween2011 So I see your point my friend. Only speaking to the ones who say they have no connection to Africa.

  • @holloween2011 I have not said that anyone should deny their other heritage. Like you stated African-Americans are not pure African. However, if you study genetics you will realize that the African/Negroid gene is the most dominant in the human gene pool. That is why as racists as the one drop rule in the US is... it is based on genetic facts. I never deny any of my heritage and don't want anyone to do that. I am speaking of those who deny the truth my brother... that is all.

  • @BigWelt lol my wife is dominican shes mixed... dark brown skin, naturally wavy fine hair and dark green eyes and practically every body in her family nd looks similar to her. latinos should take credit for there african genes but it seems you want them to say they are 100% african, that would be self hating as well, cause then your denyin your other heritages (like african americans who say there completely black even though there not, in order to fit in with other black people).

  • "Ita kind of like halloween ut nothing like it " lol wat ?
