Slideshow to Hillsong Londons beautiful song "How great is our god"

The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end

The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

  • el es digno de alabar........ su nombre es sobre todo......

  • @sykes154 I am not mainly talking about atrocities. God is almighty, loving , caring.. A loving earthly father will save an innocent child, when he is able too. God does not do that. Therefore, God is not loving or caring. He let 100.000 innocent children perish under the rubble in Haiti.

  • @tallliza I understand where you're coming from, and certainly there are many atrocities that are hard to comprehend (i.e. the proliferation of slavery today). I think it boils down to free-will that God gives each person: much of the suffering in the world is often perpetuated by their (evil) choice to do so - and God allows that. God is certainly a loving and just God, but we can't just sit back and turn a blind eye. We're asked to be his hands an feet - if we aren't, evil and suffering win.

  • @sykes154 ; no religion has ever come up with a REASONABLE justification for the suffering of the innocent.. That for me ,is the main reason, there can not be a loving, caring, just, almighty god.

  • @tallliza: These are all valid observations and questions, but they really need to be discussed face-to-face with somebody who knows and has a deep understanding of the Bible (and who also genuinely lives and models their life after Jesus). There are some dud Christians out there (I hate to admit that), but I still encourage you to find somebody like I described - they really do exist and you'll know when you come across one!

  • Four common sense reasons why I think there is no god; A) Total absence from the natural world. No sign of a god, before, during or after, natural disastres B) The absolute absence of favoritism towards believers. Even chruches need lightning-rods to protect them from god. C) The absence of any reaction, when crimes are committed in his name. D) The suffering of the innocent. One could accept that the guilty must suffer, but children ???

  • 3 people don't know how great our God is..
