On 14 January 2011, approximately 200-250 people gathered in Kings Cross to protest the violence by bouncers at the adjacent "Trademark Hotel", which ultimately resulted in the death of Mr Wilson Duque. The case is still before the courts.
Thanks to the NSW Government's hopeless mismanagement of the Security Industry, these days people coming into the security industry do not have brains, commonsense or basic people skills. These are precisely the attributes a bouncer needs to prevent incidents like this happening.
In many cases, recent entrants to the security industry barely speak English, so how could they possibly talk someone out of a fight? Many of the current breed of bouncers also come from ethnic groups prone to gang violence. It wasn't this way in the past.
The Government have been made aware of this yet as usual have failed to do anything about it, except increase fees and continually frustrate the good guys in the industry. The results are tragic...
(Thanks to Ron who sent us the video).
MAYBE THE FAMILY SHOULD INVEST IN SOMEONE TO SHOOT THE ANIMALS THAT KILLED HIM, did you see the size of the bouncers who killed him, they should be shot, there pumped up muscle bound assholes that need taking down

I attained my Master's in Health and Safety whilst working as a bouncer to pay my way through Uni. So if I don't have brains, then you must be a rocket scientist! Nice generalisation there on your behalf.
