Poetic Pilgrimage

Poetic Pilgrimage consist of 2 female MC/ Poets/Servants of ALLAH/Lovers of Life They have known each other for close to 13 years, but have been stepping together for about 9 years. Both from Bristol City in the UK, (affectionately known as Crystal City), The girls moved to London in 2001.

Influenced greatly by the injustices of all people in general but poor Black people in particular the two decided they had some Sh... they needed to get of their chest spit it out into the atmosphere and then lay it to rest. Thus Poetic Pilgrimage was born.

Despite what the name may suggest at this point none of the girls had any interest in Islam whatsoever in fact the complete opposite (but thats another story). A few good memories, some days without food, a few less friends, a Rebel Musik compilation and a move back to Bristol later, and by the grace of Allah the two were call to Islam June 16 2005. the rest can be heard in their Music InshAllah.

Dear respected Poetic Pilgrimage, my brothers and sisters of Islam

The scholars of Islam have said that for a good deed to be accepted by Allah it should meet two conditions.

1) condition is that it is purely for Allah's sake alone and it is done to please the most high in a way that it is pleasing to him.

2) That the action has to be within the guidelines of the Quran and Prophetic Traditions (sunnah)

In the case of Poetic Pilgrimage, it clearly does not meet the second condition.
