i have a solution to your torque problem: get rid of the thrusters and and make blades with fin tool on them.

It seems to lack one of the most important things though, it has cyclic pitch, but I can't see how you can change the collective pitch xD
I'm working on one too and it's quite hard, mine is almost the same as yours, but where you have the ballsockets, I have the ballsockets to a small cube, and a slider to allow the ballsockets (cube + swasplate) to go up/down. It constantly spazzes though, so I need to redesign it :(
