Seriously, working in a group home, I was attacked with a pen by a behavioral client... and from that experience, I can safely say that it would be REALLY REALLY hard, like insanely hard, to die/kill yourself with a pen. That shit barely penetrates if someone else is attacking you, much less trying to leverage it against yourself! They should have let him try and then laughed at his failure.

Where do governments think they have the right to deny someone the choice to take their own life? I understand in this situation because it was a courtroom and he could have harmed someone else, but if someone wants to jump off a cliff let why does the gov think it has the right to take that man into custody.
