Janmantharangal - The Unborn

A surreal fable of innocence. Rajani Menon (Smriti Rajan) an unmarried young girl who wanted to be an actress lands up working in an art gallery in the city. Apart from the menial jobs in the gallery, staring at the painting of a kathakali artist was her favourite past time. However her life is thrown into tantrums when she is faced with an unplanned pregnancy. She doesn't know what to do and doesn't want her parents to know about it. But first she has to tell her boyfriend. When her boyfriend asks her not to keep the baby, shes in a fix. She has to make a decision fast regarding her unborn child. What options does she have?
