A series of commercials my father made in 1968 for an Oklahoma City series of bond measures. There are wonderful aerials of Oklahoma City and information about housing costs of the time.

  • Yes, he did do a lot of voice over/commercial work in L.A. and Oklahoma City.

I had these political ads digitized from the original 35mm tape footage that I've kept in an antique suitcase under my bed since his death in the 1980s.

  • Did your dad do a bunch of voiceover/commercial work in Oklahoma City? He sort of seems familiar, but I can't place the name.

Also, where did you find these? The film looks great for something about 40-years-old. They must have been stored really well.

  • I was born in Oklahoma City, so the footage brings back memories for me too. It is amazing how comparatively cheap everything was back then.

  • that was some great footage of our city! gas was 30 cents a gallon back then. wow.
