i can't find any of the things you describe to get adobe air into the emulator

very well explain, the emulator works but its slow to response, its better to test your app in a device

hey ..actually i tried the sample steps and build a similar app and when i click the app icon on the emulator to test the app it prompts the application has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Can you plz tell me what is the problem with it.

How do you install the adobe air in the emulator when you do it on a mac - can't figure out how to do the end part in the terminal ??? Great tutorial BTW!

I definitely agree. Device testing is MUCH better!

This is most likely one of two things. Firstly, you may have a error in your app. Make sure the app runs in Flash before you test it in the emulator. Secondly, the emulator does not have AIR installed by default. You can find the instructions to install AIR in the release notes
