Just let them be. Who are we to cry Human rights Violation?? That bugger of an old man is unprofessional AND ethnocentric. They should have killed him.
-
Let them be!!! They take 'drugs' for spiritual reasons, commit suicide voluntarily and proudly, and don’t allow disabled children to grow up because they can't survive in the middle of the jungle.
The Brazilian government shouldn't allow this kind of "contact" to messing up with their culture giving gifts such as mirror, or showing a computer. We don't have anything to teach them and all they have to teach us, the civilized people, we are not willing to learn.

I have much respect for these people. If they choose to die before their time, just let them be

ugh that Paul Raffaele guy is so unprofessional... and we have no right to enforce western values on these people...

@shukucci They live thier way. And if people have a problem with senseless murder then let them put their energy into fighting bigger problems - such as current day Syria
-
@TheMarcGordon Well if they are unable to deal with the deaths of their relatives. And commit suicide at the age of 30-35 I don't think they can be too happy. And as we've seen the mother that had to escape because they wanted her to kill her disabled daughter. I think a lot of them there live in fear.

So unbelievably sensationalized. Man. "One of the biggest human rights violations?" Really? Because I think there are probably greater violations that are within our own cultural context.
-
The Australian accent sounds so insincere.
Leave them alone - they are more happy and content with their existance that probably 99% in the'civilized' world

We portray them as savages by noticing that they kill sick and disabled offspring. It's the best thing they can do to preserve their gene pool and that's the reason they have few diseases. Me being a diabetic for some years have reflected over the fact that if we just died off before being able to carry our bad genes over to the next generation there wouldn't be diabetics. Just one of many examples. Other than that, wonderful documentary and imagery.
