Tricia Helfer from Canada is the winner of the 1992 Supermodel of the World contest.
After travelling the world for 10 years as a model, she decided to go into acting and it has paid off for her.
She was also one of the judges on Canada's next supermodel

Haha. I think they mentioned it in the BSG miniseries commentary that James Callis was a little intimidated by her when they first met (which was to film the sex scene... what a way to meet someone!) because she was noticeably taller.
And because they we're pretend frakking... lol

she is very tall, taller than alot of actors in BSG, if you see her standing next to the characters she is always taller...but then again actors are mostly short. Even ARHNOLD is 6'2, making me taller then him
