Fully Alive (Acoustic)

Telling Layla story spoken
About how all her bones are broken
Hammers fall on all the pieces
Two months in the cover creases

Fully Alive
More than most, ready to smile and love life
Fully Alive now she knows how to believe in futures

All my complaints shrink to nothing
I'm ashamed of all my somethings
She's glad for one day of comfort
Only because she has suffered

Fully Alive
More than most, ready to smile and love life
Fully Alive now she knows how to believe in futures

Here she stands today
In her brilliant shining way
Stronger than her pain
In her brilliant shining way

Fully Alive
More than most, ready to smile and love life
Fully Alive now she knows how to believe in future

Fully Alive
More than most, ready to smile and love life
Fully Alive now she knows how to believe in Jesus

  • i really like the way she sings the verses very sorrowfully, if that is a word haha, but after the bridge it seems like the chorus gets brighter. Idk if it's her facial expressions on if she sings it slightly different or what, but [retty awesome version indeed.

  • loove this song <3

  • simply wow... beutifull

  • The 1 dislike is from a person who is not fully alive.

  • @forsakable123 Yes she does, but what you are most likely noticing is how the higher guitar part fades out of flat.

  • love it

  • love itt

  • @MellyBell910 That's okay then :)

  • @Minecraft4life1000 meh, who cares, there are more likes anyways[;

  • @MellyBell910 I'm going to be the first dislike because you said that.

  • @forsakable123 It's because the choruses after the bridge use a different chord progression (Fmaj, C, A# instead of D) and as a result it creates a "brighter" feeling there, that's one of my favorite things about the way they wrote the song. Not many people who aren't musicians catch on to that part for some reason, so good observation there.
