This is why the US drinking laws are stupid and dangerous. The fact that an 18 year old could go to court for consuming alcohol puts a lot of people off consuming it at that age. This is the result of somebody turning 21 and thinking that they can down a 10 glass of vodka, they could end up choking on their own vomit, or getting alcohol poisoning - both of which can result in death. Those aren't the only risks - I had my first hangover at 15 and learnt my lesson, I know how much I can handle.

@andrecoates I appreciate you looking at this as a maturity issue. I live in a college town where arrogance mixes with ignorance. I feel for them because I see "adults" coming to live on their own without listening skills or compassion for themselves. Many in their 20's are desperate for attention and fearful of social judgement. Some hurt their bodies by drinking to excess and generally not watching out for themselves or their friends. I wonder if some don't care about themselves.

The funny think is not that she is at a 99% alcohol level or she was 21 for 2 hours but ALL OF HER FLIPPEN FREINDS does she need her shoes, o' she's fine. Just passed out, her bikini freind that had the blanket think was the best I think

This is why America is fucked up... People are stupid, so they set 21 as the drinking age, but as soon as people turn 21 they keep being as stupid as they were before... It is not a matter of lowering to 18.. it's a matter of growing up and learning how to deal with alcohol like people do in Other countries
