I was looking for this since I was kid, thank you so much.

I first saw this when I was probably around 9...and other than picking it up and watching it again when I was 13, I haven't seen it since. This was undoubtedly my favorite part of Robot Carnival...and it's been a long time since I've seen it. Though I was just a kid then, I swear that "Deprive" taught my little kid-ass about love, bravery, kindness, and determination...corny guitar riff aside
I even told a friend of mine how much I wanted to watch it with her, kind of like looking at my past

I saw Robot Carnival on the Scifi channel years ago when I was 13 or 14. Deprive was my favorite short! Thank you so much for uploading this. It brings back a lot of memories and nostalgia. I had the biggest crush on the robot's human form in this when I was a kid LOL.

I love this one =)
It's pretty good to watch, but some of the magic is gone from when I first saw it. Still love it. Thanks for sharing!

i wish this anime stuff was still on sci-fi.

This one was my least favorite on the series actually... the girl looked like she was 10 compared to the anorexic robo-boyfriend. But I guess it's as much "bubblegum" for the boys and Starlight Angel was for the girls. Everyone is entitled to bubblegum once in a while ;)

Best part of the whole thing: That totally sweet guitar riff that breaks in at 4:30!

No dout this and other Robot Carnival shorts had a influence on the making of the Matrix.
It has everything, girl in danger, love story, robots, gay clown freak bad guy with laser eye, action, rocking 80s music. This is a golden piece of anime.

sure its cheesy and is the complete embodiment of all that is and was 80's, but there's such a triumphant naivete to the piece that showcases everything that was great about the genre. By the time I finished watching it I realized I had this giant ass grin plastered across my face.
