This has some awesome video, this video is pieced together from 2 different days. It turned out well and if I didn't say it was from 2 different days you probably wouldn't know. It was awesome filming this from the Helo. Thanks HC-6 Det-6 on AOE-6 666

  • What was the break-away music?

  • @AMScruff This was replaced by use of copyrighted music years ago. It is something I picked from Music Shake via Tube and I have no idea what it is. Sorry

  • Aren't those ships too close for comfort? I mean, there could have been a collision at sea or something.

  • hilarious!

  • When was this taken?

  • 2004

  • i remember this ship was our carrier bitch on the 2004 GW cruise. Saw her every day and night from the flight deck as i was tending to my tomcats (VF-143). She was the only thing out there that constantly reminded us we werent alone

  • my dad surved on this ship back when it launched in like 91 or something

  • I like how the Harpoon is mounted at the lowest position

USN must have learned from the Tomahawk ABL's on the Spruance

    Nice video by the way

The Ticonderoga class always impress me with their seakeeping ability, with the design of the superstructers being so, huge, and tall

  • 2003-07 Served. Its cool to actually look at this now!

  • My uncle served on this ship in 2009 when he was still a Lt.commander
