David Oistrakh also has this habit. Spivakov was attending his classes. :)

A very special video this is. Spivakov has a nice habit (not only on this video) of looking up as if to ask for inspiration from above - which seems to be granted him. Spivakov watches his concertmaster like a son would a father.

The sweetest classical movement ever written, and played by truly angelic strings!
The music gently touches the center of the heart, and, slowly, melts it to pure liquid.

This has been about the twentieth time that I have listened to this video. the tears are rolling down on my cheeks. I also spent several hours reading everything I found on Spivakov and the Moscow Virtuosi. When I hear music like that I experience the return of a ray of hope that God may exist after all.

Thank you for the comment. Glad that you enjoy it. Yes, I completely agree with you. Sometimes I also feel that Spivakov and his music came to this world from the above... I had a luck to see him playing and conducting in performances. Unforgettable...
