I love this car because of the manual transmission!
-
id sup that thing up

Love the car but for 36 to 39 thousand I could go get a well equipped g37 , 3 series, or a cts sedan or coupe. I thought it would be about 30 to 32. I'll pass really nice car though.

@Capitalissimo Rebadged/Based, I know they are different terms, but I meant the former in this case. Oops. Either way, I love the Regal -- I can't love something I cannot own (the Insignia).

as a 21 year old, i would definately buy this car

I think the Buick Regal Turbo still has too much chrome to appeal to young affluent trend-setting buyers-- which is their targeted demographic for this car.

@jakeroot2 The buick regal is not based on the insignia, is a rebadged insignia, no more, my friend. the most important cars today in gm , the cruze and the regal, are opel models, are the new buick middle sedan, is the opel astra sedan. and yes daewoo in not now a manufacturer, but is no more a name change , gm daewoo to gm korea. and saab othe history,,....

@Capitalissimo I don't think you understood him - Opel is owned by GM. GM does not make cars (minus the EV, which folded anyways). GM's success is from their American companies (22% of all sales), with Opel at about 9%. However, you are correct when you say that the Regal is based on the Opel Insignia -- I cannot argue with that. But as it stands, many other sedans Opel, Vauxhall, and Holden sell are based on American developed platforms. By the way, Daewoo is no longer a manufacturer.

@winefootdotcom all of the car was depeloped by ADAM OPEL AG in Germany, not buick, general motors is a shit, todays gm's success is by opel(german engineering) cruze is all opel platform, engines,....all not gm. and of course gm daewoo.(design) today gm korea, but all of these cars are not american....Ig you are american, buy ford.!

@phantomloita Who do you think owns Opel? That's right, General Motors - Additionally, Buick had a huge part in the overall design of this car so they deserve the compliments..
