  • @BFerreira82 The reason a lot of these capoeira kicks arent effective is because of the wind up time and recovery time needed to execute them accurately, im not doubting its effectiveness, just a lot of ppl spend more time training in Brazilian jujitsu and muay tai rather than capoeira because its too flashy and leaves too many openings.

  • I guess with so many KO´s on Youtube caused by this Capoeira kick...maybe now people can see it´s use as an fighting style...! Maybe...since everything tho the MMA crazy fanboys...if it doesn´t work in the cage, it´s no good....so where´s all your theory on that ?! Bahhh do what you please...I think even one Aikido move would work in real life situation....at least one. Those Arts exist because there´s something good in them.

  • For every capoeira KO there are a million fails.

  • @yggdrasil94 Krav Maga is more self defense/street fighting, more scenario and situational and involves prop/weapon training . I go to an mma gym and they teach Krav as a self defense course, some of the fighters still take it though. I love muay thai too much to change lol

  • @lyraclaceras the guy in black tried to block but missed. You don't lose track of punches or kicks because you read them in your opponents eyes. In MMA, this kick can work but only because the rules say you cannot be attacked when you turn your back to your opponent.

  • not such thing as a best martial art

  • @BFerreira82 I would personally like to see guys learning arts like Krav Maga and putting it to use in mma, its becoming a widely popular martial art, and one that i have had training in, its very practical and easy to use, but also extremely deadly. To many conform to the uses of Jujitsu, judo, muay thai, wrestling, boxing, and kickboxing, granted all of those are extremely practical, but its boring seeing the same thing over and over again.

  • @lyraclaceras

This is my second reply. Look at the angle of the kick when it came in. It was in such angle that entered from the side. In a fight the brain focuses on one thing and reduces vision from sides to get better reaction from threats in front of us.

CONCLSION: He didn't see it coming.

  • @lyraclaceras Unless you concentrating on the feet, it's hard to keep track of what the kick is going to be and where it is going to come from. You can react to either punches or kicks and a person least expect a Capoeira or TaeKwonDo move in the octagon.

  • @BFerreira82

It sounded like you were saying something different. By the way if you are saying that Aikido moves don't work in real life, they do. I did Aikido and it worked beautifully.

Somehow we are having a big communication problem here. I don't know why...

  • @MynameisAbhaySoni Didn´t get it. You said almost the same I did. We agree that it has kicks that work. Ok fine. We´re in tune there. I praticed Capoeira in MUZENZA for 6 years. i know it´s history and it´s styles. And it works believe me. Not all moves, but it can really work.

  • @TheSecludedly You just said in other words...what I´ve already said ! :) Glad you agree.
