Fitting In: The Tetris Chronicles (Extended Cut)

Alex Patno is a teenager just like any other...except for the small fact that he spends every day of his life as a tetrimino. Aran Fox, his best friend, is always by his side, which is a good thing considering Tretton "Chief," the school's bully, is doing everything he can to make Alex's life a living hell. To complicate things even further, Alex discovers he isn't the only tetrimino on the block. Could this be love?

Fitting In: The Tetris Chronicles, follows a few key days in the life of Alex, as he struggles to overcome the bully, get the girl, and maintain his wavering friendship.

Fitting In was originally created for the Nintendo Short Cuts Showcase Contest. This is the full version. The entry version was cut to five minutes.

Thanks for commenting on my entry. I love a lot of the lines that you had in your video. "Pfft. PC Gamers." I would like to have seen the version you sent to Nintendo, because I think the pace of you video was a little slow in some places. Oh, yeah, and I love the character names.

Yeah, I actually dig this one a lot more than the entry version. To me, it seemed like I wound up writing more plot and dialogue than was possible for a five minute movie, so I king of like the extended take better. To me, it seems that the other is almost one thing after another with no chance to take any of it in.
