This was my very first look at a new game called Oil Rush. These first 2 levels sure were not very inspiring. But since making this video I have watched some multiplayer matches and I must say, it looks like its a lot of fun. So I will for sure put out another video further into the single player and perhaps of a online match as well.
Spectator wise the game is very nice to look at. The graphics are stunning and the water effects are very well done. But I feel I would grow bored of a game (player or spectaror) wise with a blistering 20 apm requirement :P But I am going to give this game some more time before I come to a conclusion on it.
They will also be releasing the sdk for the game, and we all know what mods can bring to a game. With that in mind I could see this becoming a much more complex and and overall more competitive game once modders get there hands on it :)
For those wondering I am running the game maxed out with 8x AA in DX11 mode, averaging 70-90+ fps. There still seems to be some jagged edges so I might try using the BF3 fxaa injector on it to see if that cant fix the problem ;)
