Well, they're from a completely different genre, so you can't really compare the series to the Classic one (or any of the platforming series).
Battle Network and Star Force are their full names. They're two series, but SF is basically a continuation of BN.

well, true but im just saying that because that departed the whole entire megaman series with this weird new one
and BN/SF? is that what its called?
well anyway, i look at this type of megaman and then i look at the new ones, i dont see an improvement in gameplay whatsoever
looks really boring to me

Yeah, the number of MM4 hacks aren't near as plentiful as MM2, but the few that there are happen to be pretty spiffy. You should check out Raiyukazumori's videos of Megaman Forever, hands down the best of the current MM4 hacks (maybe one of the best ever).
