Just a random question, nice if you could answer ko300zx. Why would your guild give the Shadowmourne to you, over a warrior/dk? They benefit from it way more than a Retribution paladin does.

I don't know if it's WAY more dps for those two classes but I know there is WAY more that goes into deciding who it goes to than how much dps it is. Oogystick summed it up. I'm the last remaining person from when this guild was created, I'm never late, don't miss raids, and do a lot of stuff for the guild outside of just raiding. Our warrior is halfway done his too so all will be well :p

The CLCret addon lets you pay less attention to the split second decisions of which button to hit in priority, you know, eyeballs bouncing back and forth on your cooldowns to decide which one takes priority. The CLCret addon just tells you which stronger ability is coming off cooldown first without having to watch inconsistent cooldowns of half a dozen abilities that never have a pattern.

I just turned CLCret back on not too long ago. Probably going to end up turning it back off. I cannot ever seem to get myself to pay attention to it. It can be a great tool though for the reasons you listed.

@oogystick I tried to use CLCret at first but I find it more smooth making my own decisions and with the priority we use you probably get used to things bouncing off CD at the same time and random DS moments

Actually a Ret Paladin benefits from it more then any 2 handed class we can get a 10 stack in near 4-5 seconds no other class is even close to that. From a DPS standpoint Ret gains the most from it as the scaling is that big so sorry but you are wrong about who benefits the most.

Bottom line.

In my guild it was between myself and a warrior whose been in the guild longer than I. We've been raiding together for 3 years now.

If it's 200-300 dps better, for one person, should that really be the determining factor?

It's not going to make or break any guild who the axe goes to. Provided they stay in the guild.
