Once again you have been very kind. Is there any specific way I can help you.
-
There is always so much discussion about technique, how to hit that note, etc . . . just wanted to say that performance is more than knowing how to sing, and you are obviously a talented performer.
Cheers!
-
That is very kind.

How did I miss this . . . great job!

Go on to Google and type in "the human body" or suggest diaphragm or any other part of the human body and you will see that one is bellow the other some what and they have two completely different functions. The diaphragm separates the lungs and heart etc from your guts. Do a bit of investigation on the web because you will be able to get diagrams etc that will make it easier to understand than what I can here in this comments box.
-
whats the difference? between the abdomen and diaphram.
-
You don't have to have "full" breaths. You breath normally pretty much but the lower half of the lung and chest expand and the pushing down is on the abdomen not the diaphragm, the diaphragm will do it's work naturally.

what if you can sing a note that is high.. but
it sounds kinda sharp.
Every time I try doing what you said with the vowels and the kooing.
um lets see...
what else. I bend my knees to feel like its easier for me to go higher.
and I even put my head up against the wall.
Its not that I want to increase my range.
but better the one I have right now.
I push my diaprahm down instead of out. and try taking full breaths. before hitting it.
but it always comes out sharp/yelling _o__gah
Mate - you've come along way since "Temple Dance"!!!!!
