Hermano - Baseball and Cuban Propaganda

On my 2004 trip to Cuba, I flipped on the TV in the hotel room to Cubavision, Cuban state TV. There was a baseball game on and I decided to grab my digital camera and record a snippet. But it wasn't the baseball game that caught my attention.

In North American baseball broadcasts, between the top and bottom of innings, we go to a commercial break. But in Cuba, they go to a propaganda break.

While I was there, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez was visiting Cuba. This little "commercial" highlights the special "brotherly" relationship he has with Fidel Castro.
