He uses Origami paper. You can buy it from an arts and crafts store or online. It usually has a white side and a colored side, like red or blue. It's 'special' because it's a box. You can use printer paper too, but follow the guy's first instructions in this video to use printer paper watch?v=FSijU52XJ7w
