  • think how much she will save on shoes and gloves

  • Well, if you would have paid attention to the film, you would have known that the male character is a world-class surgeon who has a lab in the his home - therefore, he would have been to operate successfully.

  • @dimransee I watched another clip from the movie and saw one of your comments, felt I should respond. You know nothing about my relationship with that whore, so shush.

    Director's gender does mean shit.

I didn't say it's sexist against men, I said "if anything" it's sexist against men. Sure, his limbs are intact. He cut hers fucking off. It's the creepy man doing monstrous things to the beautiful woman, and apparently she started "falling in love with him" because she was lonely. You're a creeper

  • @FFFan3445 are you stalking me now? jeez. get over your ex dude. it's pathetic. sorry but i calls it like i sees it.

i know it's directed by a woman, david lynch's daughter. director's gender doesn't mean shit.

it's not sexist against men lmfao i can't even deal with your ignorance. and yeah then she starts falling in love with the guy who did that to her - so empowering for women! or, as you believe, sexist against men (lolololol i see the dude's limbs all intact, idek where you got that from).

  • @dimransee You sure are crazy about insulting this movie, huh? I really don't think you understand the movie's message or themes. This was directed by a woman, it's meant to be a horrific story. It's about the repression of a woman's rights, of her ability to live properly, all at the hands of a man. If this movie is sexist at all, it's against men.

  • @dimransee it just feels that way because all of the *priveleges* prior to equal rights movements, are now being chipped away at... they're mourning a loss of superiority. it feels like they've lost so much but really it's because they HAD too much. now the playing field is slowly being made fairer (very slowly and very gradually infact) and equality, in these terms, is a good thing. personal sup/in --feriority exists but that has nothing to do with sex/race/gender/sexuality/etc, just talents.

  • bullshit movie. isn't it ridic how so many movies centre on bringing an independent woman - in control of her own life - down? people must just sit there thinking 'women really think they're human beings these days... what new and inventive way can i think of to entirely degrade/humiliate/ruin them and take back male control?' the ridic thing is, it seems to be the white guys who feel this way and women/people of colour are no where near equal, let alone in control over them :/

  • @creol22 silly... it IS sick. that's the point. the director is the daughter of David Lynch, film master of surrealist dread and horror. this movie being sick is no accident. it is SUPPOSED to be disturbing. and I think it succeeds.

  • This is what a woman has to be to relate to a man. You don't see her amputated parts because it is her spirit that gets amputated.
