FREE INTERACTIVE TENNIS ELBOW VIDEO ASSESSMENT at http://www.diyinjuryrehab.com/tennis-elbow-assessment. It makes all the difference. It carefully works out what level of Tennis Elbow exercise is appropriate for your elbow injury at this time - "not a one size fits all" approach (like most others I see on the internet!)

  • hi, can u tell me typically how long does it takes to heal by itself? Thks.

  • @prettymel66 depending on how painful it is it can take anything from a few weeks upto 2 years

  • @diyinjuryrehab so by doing this stretch exercise, it would expeidate the healing process ? thks.

  • @prettymel66 this stretch will help to lengthen out any shortened area in the muscle connective tissue or any scaared area in the muscle. If this is contributing to your pain then YES it will help your arm 'heal'.

However Tennis Elbow is a degenerative process rather than an inflammatory one. If you have had the pain for over 6 weeks then this is more likely the cause. This means that your tendon that attaches these muscles to your outer elbow are breaking down quicker than they are repairing..

  • @diyinjuryrehab contd.. To properly heal your problem you need to stimulate repair of the cells in the tendon while not causing them to break down faster. This means doing the correct degree of exercise for your level of problem. I have a general set of exercises on my channel. However take my FREE INTERACTIVE VIDEO ASSESSMENT at w w w(dot)diyinjuryrehab(dot)com/tennis-elbow-assessment and find out for sure if you have Tennis Elbow get the correct exercises you need to be doing and stretches.

  • I'm 16 years old, and I've had this problem twice. Once when I lifted dumbells until my muscles gave out, and yesterday when I worked on a curling machine until my muscles gave out. I didn't realize that doing this could potentially cause this problem. It's very very painful and I need to keep my arm extended or else it causes me a lot of pain...what do I do?? do i go see a doctor?? the first time I had it, the pain subsided in a week or 2.

  • quite good flexibility for a man.

  • thankyou so much this made my elbow pain feel so much better!

  • @chisaoboy sorry mate it works fine for me! you need w w w(dot) at the front as well - perhaps that's the problem?

  • @diyinjuryrehab Thank you. I tried your link but got your site but with this msg: Error 404 - Not Found, The page you are looking for probably never existed therefore, it was a good try. (And yes, I changed the (dot) to a period. ;-) Please advise. Thank you.
