Is this firmware compatible with the U.S. version Galaxy S phones? I'm becoming new to Android and also will it work with the new Android 2.2 Froyo that is out? By the way excellent review.

You said sdcard at 3:09
What do you mean by sdcard? external sd or internal sd.
Also why arent you happy with modaco r2 that you went to jff? Is there any particular reason? Please let me know.
Thanks a lot.

@adityat90 r2 was working well for me but then I tried a JIT compiler that made my phone very unstable. I decided to give another firmware a try so I went to JFF. Now I'm running JG5 rooted and I'm waiting on my new SD card to do Mimocan's stall fix.

Thanks! it helped me a lot! but one question though, when i've done this, i still can use launcher pro? Because i want to get rid off that iphone look and personalise it a bit. Thanks

@maxiebo Yes, of course, you can always use Launcher Pro :D . This just gives you root access, fixes some problems in JG1, makes your phone a bit faster, and gives you some cool features and apps that are no longer on the market. It also makes the lag/stall fix very easy to do, i'll be posting a video on that soon.
