Story of Field Day

Working through some of the worst years of the Troubles, Field Day Theatre Company explored what had caused the strife they saw around them, attracting high praise - and controversy.

Now, actor Stephen Rea goes on a journey to revisit the places where they connected with audiences in Northern Ireland and is joined in his reflections by Tom Kilroy, Seamus Heaney, Seamus Deane and Tom Paulin.

but I do agree with what you explained above (Acting is just as hard as any other job)

It's not an easy job...you must be gifted to be able to act (really..)

unless you've done theatre, spent time rehearsing a role, done research on said character, and pretty much become it yourself and make it believable, i would suggest one not knock an actor! It amazes me how some people think that acting is "blah" Acting is just as hard as any other job its just MORE FUN to do! Actors LOVE their job, I can't say the same for everyone else. That is what seperates and actor from the common worker.

And yes, I am an actor/techie...in theatre and film :)

Elaine Cassidy is a very talented actress!!! I loved her very much in Fingersmith. I do theatre in France... I wish one day I could play with her in England!!!
