  • Please go to the CreateSpace website and learn from their FAQs and tutorials about content. If your graphic novel is in color, and every page of your book is color, your cost will be higher than if the interior is black and white.

  • A brief comment to remind people (as I mentioned in the video) to go through CreateSpace's tutorials, FAQs, and all other customer support before you start, so you will be armed with everything you need to know to complete your project successfully.

  • you mentioned copy right information...what does that entail?

and lastly, does the board deny books they deem offensive? or do they merely look ONLY at

    formating and grammical erros..??

    thanks for this great post.

    !!

  • @MrLifestudent CreateSpace does specify they will not print offensive material, so it'sa good idea to read through all their FAQs and tutorials before you get started. That goes for copyright too. It's always best to get in-depth info directly from them. They are very good about taling to you on the phone too, if you need some one-on-one advice. It costs nothing to open an account and geta feel for the site.

  • Nadia,

This is a GREAT tutorial. Thank you. Do you have any information about publishing picture books on createspace? I am finding a lot of information on how to upload "text" on createspace, but what about artwork or photos? The book I'm publishing has many graphics. Thanks for any input you can provide.

  • @clariselaststrike Yes, you can have pictures and graphics. Your book can have as many graphics and photos as you want because prior to uploading, you'll convert the doc to pdf. If you want those images to be in color however, the cost goes up significantly.
