Porcupet Play

This is a baby porcupine, called a porcupet. His mother was killed when she was hit by a car and he was cared for by licensed wildlife rehabilitator Gail Buhl. He was orphaned and imprinted on humans and is now living at a nature center in northern Minnesota.

In this video he is engaging in play behavior. He his practicing his mad stylin' moves that he would use as an adult to defend himself with his quills up.
