Gentry had testified that he bought "Cubby" from Greenly and they would take videotape of the hunt in an enclosure surrounded by an electrified fence.

"Lee and I made a deal about harvesting this bear," said Gentry. They planned to report that the Bear named "Cubby" was wild and that Gentry killed him 6 miles away instead of on Greenly's property.
