I got the metal lamp from my local walmart for 10 bux and I'm using a mic stand to hold it up.

  • Very good, my volume doesn't work so you might have mentioned but what kind of tape did you use to put together the box?

  • @83Batesphotography regular duck tape.. you could use gorilla tape because its thicker.

  • what kind of light bulb should i use? does it matter?

  • @BrainEatingZomb1e Might I recommend using black gaffer's tape for the exterior of the joints and white for the interior seams? Gaffer's tape is strong stuff, and would add a slick touch to the finished product. Just my 1/50th of a dollar...

  • You can also purchase 3200K bulbs at most any photo supply store that fit into a standard Edison base. They also make them in CF lamps at either 3200K or 5600K lamps that burn very cool like the CF lamps in your home. Using standard lightbulbs will give you and orange look no matter how bright they are. Photo bulbs give the proper color temperature for photography / videography.
