-
i LOVE the drums
-
you fly along collecting the coloured blocks and it matches the songs beat or tune.
-
i dont understand the game?!
-
Audio CDs, MP3s, M4As, WMAs and OGGs! All the major formats.
-
ok thanks. one more thing: what audio formats does the game accept?
-
It's not so much the file quality, as the intensity of the music that affects the difficulty. For slow-moving, quiet sections, there are less blocks and you're travelling uphill (These are characterised by the track being purple or blue), but for intense sections you're travelling downhill, with more blocks, and the track turns yellow or red. You can see this happening at around 4:30.

can you tell me how this game functions? it generates a game from your song, yeah. what formats does it take and how does the quality of the audio file influence gameplay? higher quality = harder gameplay?

Nice,but what is that?

Amon Tobin (The guy that soundtracked Chaos Theory)'s tracks generally work really well with Audiosurf. Personal favourites are Easy Muffin, Four Ton Mantis, and El Cargo. Four Ton Mantis has a stupidly fast downhill section for about 80% of the song, and a bit where it's possible to score a Match21 as Ninja Mono.
