well we do primer them... this is just a quick way to get an army or squad or whatever out on the table...

My method for my space wolves:

1. Prime chaos black

2. Basecoat shadow grey

3. Paint details in basic colors

4. Wash whole model with devlan mud, done

why don't you just get a 3'x3' or so peice of cardboard and buy spray-primer? it is very cheap yo get cardboard(or free) and primer is only a coupel of usd dollars? and nice earrings btw
