Wow. Miss Damrau seems to combine the exuberance of Cecilia Bartoli with the range of Mady Mesple, the musicality of Lucia Popp with the theatricality of Natalie Dessay. At last I have found a contemporary diva to worship!

Really wonderful. A timbre to her voice that rings like a bell all the way up to the very top notes she is singing. Also, amazing control during the runs. She is excellent - the best Coloratura at the moment without a doubt.

That is her actual natural vibrato. Actually, a fast vibrato is an extremely common characteristic of coloratura voices due to the nature of how their vocal chords work.
I could get into all the pedagogical stuff but it is irrelevant considering this comment is 2 months old. LOL

This is not a soprano. This is not human. Diana is a God in earth. A soprano sings, Diana doent's sing, she goes deeper. Is this Diana Damrau real, or am I dreaming? My Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!!!!!!!
