Originally bought in 1998, rebuilt and customized til 2001 when I sold it, loved this car. Made a video for a friend who joined the army before he saw it complete. Just recently bought a dazzle vhs converter and this was my first project. Originally taped summer 2000.

  • I have a 86 camaro berlinetta that im in the middle of working on its not stock the guy i bought it from raced it i put true duals all through it and glass packs not bad for my first car but anyways when i shift it into drive it takes it a couple seconds to switch any advice on how to fix this?

  • @camaroberlinette86 Sorry but I don't know how to change that. My uncle did the tranny on mine and he had it so tight it chirped the tires when put in gear and it the tires chirped every gear shift. Next time I see him I'll ask him for ya. Have fun working on it !

  • @2BeerTim was a nice car sounds like a runner.

  • @camaroberlinette86 I bought the car for $300 with 63,000 miles and it was rusting all over. The interior was mint but it broke down at least once a week. It got to the point where I had so much money into it I had to go all the way. I replaced everything except the motor which was ready to pop after I put 20,000 hard miles on it. It looked great but wasn't a good runner. The day before I sold it I had to change the plugs because they were totally soaked in oil and it was misfiring like crazy.

  • Build it up : ) Put some gears, headers and a carb on it...still pretty stock but it will let the 305 breath a little more. but when i say build it up. I mean tear it down to bare block and bore it..stroke it and polish everything. lol

  • @ryanjh2005 I sold it ten years ago. Never worked on the motor but would have liked to.
