when i click build all its says:

playerstart1 no paths from player start 1
aand then when i click play level, the screen is totally black, all i can see is my health, and weapon, (which are my hands), and i can hear my self walking but i cant see anything.

my editor is fuckin stupid when i click on a surface it doesnt select it

when i goto my actor class, its diferant, there screen looks like unreal editor 2 ?????? how do i get my weapon base

so fucking annoying how this doesn't apply to Unreal Edit 3 anymore. There's no texture window, just this generic piece of shit, and it doesn't apply by simply clicking the textures, and you can't import them. What the fuck. Such an inconvenient piece of shit compared to Hammer, and now I have to go read 43224324 documents and then apply that to these videos

ive made a basic level, but wen i click 'play level' my character just dies instantly, is there any option that has to be set or anything?

you need to rebuild your geometry. you need to do this everytime that you change one of the addition or subtraction brushes before you play.

This is nice tutorial. But my version is different. It does not have a lot of the buttons that this version has. I cannot find any wall or similar textures to use. And the ones that I do try do not work.
So is there a different tutorial? My version says it is the unreal editor for unreal tourneyment 3.
Any help?

Unfortunately I do not have any of the tutorials for UT3. Although there are several on YouTube. A few of them are available from kchin228. Try his profile if you like.
