QUEER RISING ALBANY Every year around Valentine's Day, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered (LGBT) couples & families are invisible from advertising and mainstream culture. This year, we're staging mass hugs at local shopping malls to make our love for each other and our families visible.

Our love is equal and deserves to be treated equally under the law across the country. This is just the beginning of our actions demanding full equality for LGBT people.
