  • Was so excited to get my 6x7 Lastolite background. Put a light on the side shining inside and found yellow streaks all over the front and sides.

Am disappointed that they sent a product out like that... so check yours if you get one...

  • We wouldn't knowingly send a product out like this. All of our HiLites are checked before they leave our factory. Something may have happened to it during transit.

It's important that you have a product that you are happy with so i would suggest that you return it to the dealer you bought it from and ask them for an exchange.

Where did you buy it from?

  • When only the modelling light is on it does look that way but when the flash fires it is evenly lit.

  • The HiLite system is most effective with a minimum of two lights. One light points inside the HiLite to ensure you get an evenly lit, bright high key background. This also allows the subject to stand right in front of the background without casting a shadow. The second light should be used to light the subject from the front.

  • The HiLite used in this video was the 6 x 7 feet version.

  • We are aware that a number of photographers are lighting the HiLite with SB800 and SB900. However, it is our understanding that they are using more than one flashgun depending on whether they are shooting head and shoulders or full length.

    Hope this helps.

  • ur awesome !! good insite

  • I love the way the photos look with this product. I cant wait to order mine.

    Just ordered an Ezybox :D

  • Also what is that silly white streak at the back of her hair?!

  • Are you joking...

That model is hot hot hot. Elegant movements. Gave me a boner and no mistake. Where did they get HIM from.

  • Great product, but shame they couldn't stretch the video budget to getting decent models!

  • thanks got it. sorry i left this question on an other page. just ignor it cheers

  • I have to say that on the video the lighting on the hi lite does not look at all even. It shows a very bright area where the light is and the rest quite a bit darker
