Corn for car fuel is being grown in place of corn for eating which jacks up the price of eating corn... to the advantage of corn commodities but hurts the poor who eat corn. I wasn't sure from your comment whether you agreed with the original post that overpoulation is a myth, or if you're just pissed with the amount of land in private hands.
